Maternity sessions may take place in an intimate studio or outdoors, surrounded by Utah’s wildflowers, open skies, and golden evening light. the consultation

Our process begins with a simple inquiry through my website. Once I receive your details, I’ll invite you to a brief consultation call. This is an intentional space for us to connect, discuss your vision for the session, and ensure every detail is tailored to your family before we move forward.

wardrobe & styling

We will meet for a private styling appointment to curate a look that feels effortless and timeless. You’ll have full access to my Client Closet, a high-end collection of garments curated for the entire family—fathers included. We’ll handle every detail of the wardrobe so you can arrive at your session feeling relaxed and prepared.

securing your date

Because newborn sessions are ideally held within the first few weeks of life, I reserve a limited number of due dates each month to ensure every family receives my full attention. Your session is officially secured on my calendar once your booking proposal is completed, including a signed contract and session fee.

the session

Once your little one arrives, we will finalize your exact session date. Your time in the studio is designed to be a calm, fully supported experience. You'll get your glam done and be completely taken care of.  From gentle posing to soothing your baby, I will guide every moment, allowing you to simply be present and enjoy the beauty of these first days.

design appointment

Shortly after your session, we will meet to view your gallery for the first time. During this appointment, I will assist you in selecting your favorite images and designing bespoke artwork and digital collections. This ensures your portraits are transitioned from a screen into tangible heirlooms for your home.

We find that the best window for maternity portraits is between 27 and 33 weeks. During this time, your bump is beautifully defined, yet you typically still have the energy for a session without the late-pregnancy discomfort or swelling that can occur in the final weeks. We also offer curated First Year Collectives, which include three to four sessions at a specialized celebratory rate. These collections are designed to document your entire journey—from the anticipation of pregnancy through the milestone of those first steps—providing a seamless, high-end experience from start to finish.
